A fun short story about Arlen's time in the Desert Spear, mostly focused around his time with Abban. A quick read - and slightly overpriced at $5 - but something cool for anyone who is enthralled with this series, as I am. Something nice to hold you over until The Daylight War comes out in February. The story itself is well written, as the original books were, and the deleted scenes, while brief, are also worth the read as well. Hard to rate it too high considering it's overpriced, and not particularly of any consequence to the story, but it's still a good read.
